Yes, both technologies are owned by Schneider Electrics.
There were concerns shortly after Schneider took over Clipsal Integrated
Systems (CIS) that they would strip off the features from C-Bus for Square
D and dump CIS. Thankfully, the concerns have proved to be unfounded.
