Hi Andy
A while back i thought about doing the same thing as i have DSE
TV Caller id unit and couldnt find any info on the chip...When i looked at
the data sheet for the chip your looking at  the logo looked familiar....My
unit is using a EM78P811Q which is an elan cid micro....So im going to see
if i can somehow get the data into my xPL enviroment....

Hi Frank,

Sorry, I'm afraid I don't know.
I'm gonna have a bash at modding a Caller ID box (bought from eBay
for a measly £1.79) and getting the data to the PC.

May work out a lot cheaper than £180 for a Meteor solution.
