Yes - they all claimed to be ok (although they claimed to be ok before
today when there
were problems anyway)
For the stero stuff - have you installed Windows Media Encoder 9? The
instructions for
MMC9.0 say it's required.

My original install (when it was working and before I messed with anything)
has stereo
sound working correctly. Or at least, it produced sound, sounded ok and it
claimed to be
stereo. I didn't actually check or notice that it *sounded* stereo.
