I'd not seen that before!  You're an absolute star!

I was afraid of that.

I was hoping that it wouldn't take much power to split the multiplex and
multicast it onto the network, so the server would cope fine.  Also, I was
hoping that only multicasting one channel would mean I could use a
different
player that is less hungry on resources, so I'd only need something capable
of playing MPEG2 video (ie. PII is fine).
