I've persevered with my MV1000 / Supervisioncam (with three cameras)
set up but as others have commented it can be a bit hit or miss.

I looked at the Geovision product, was impressed technically and was
very tempted to jump in with the bulk buy.  What put me off though
was the technical spec of the PC required.  SupervisionCam is running
on an (almost) dedicated 2.4ghz Pentium 4 machine at the moment and
meets all the spec requirements for the Geovision hardware and
software.

So what puts me off?  The warnings about only working with certain
makes of motherboards and chips.  I haven't a clue what my Shuttle
has fitted...

Has anyone experience of using a motherboard not on the list of
tested ones??  I'd be frightened of buying and then finding I also
had to buy a new PC.
