Using Vigor 2600VG and asterisk

Hi,

I'm thinking of taking up the recent ad posted for the vigor 2600VG VoIP
router. Anyone know the answer to a few quick questions:

I will eventually get round to setting up an asterisk box as part of my
home
network - can I use this router to bridge the PSTN to IP traffic. i.e do I
need anything else other than this router and a spare box to install
asterisk to allow me to make phone calls to other PSTNs and IP phones and
to
allow incoming calls to be handled correctly? Will the router/asterisk be
able to route an outgoing call without any additional hardware.

How would the physical connections work in this scenario? Plug incoming
phone line into asterisk (need to buy hardware card?), then plug asterisk
into my network? What do I plug into the vigor phone ports?

Put another way, if I buy this router and I have a spare box to install
asterisk on - what else will I need ;)

Sorry for the possibly thicky questions, asterisk is just yet another thing
on my HA list, and although I have skim read the instructions a while ago,
time is not my friend for such projects :-(

Any help appreciated.

Regards,

-Dan
