Cheers for the help guys,

Realised that I didn't have the correct graphics drivers installed and
can now run overlay mode (but only up to around 640x480) still no full
screen mode :o(

Have checked directX and am running version 9 and all the direct draw
tests pass..

Might give win2k a go and see what happens...

Mark, did you have any problems getting redhat installed with regards
to wfunny hardware?
