The IBM one is now at http://sourceforge.net/projects/opencvlibrary/

but if you just want to 'play' with some ideas or techniques
<http://www.infomus.dist.unige.it/>
is free and wraps the OpenCV libraries
in an easy to use GUI, it even has I/O modules like midi etc.. so It could
be set up and used in a HA situation
some starter tips here <http://www.cs.aue.auc.dk/~rea/eyesweb/>
and here
<http://www.interactiveinstitute.se/sensen/toolbox.html>

For some Neural Network Machine Vision code (In VB!) look at
www.fuzzgun.btinternet.co.uk
What it lacks in Web design it makes up for in content ;-)

This thread could be a good way to avoid #10 from Mark's list yesterday :-)

This is one solution that may have another solution after the few
years since Mark installed his sensors, anyone done anything
different?

I noticed a few years ago that IBM had released their Computer Vision
API, which allowed PC's to do pattern recognition, There are also
other API's out too now, a quick Google didn't reveal anything that
might be immediatly usefull though :-(
