Re: What Antivirus Software?

I use free-av myself. Seems pretty thorough.

Subject: [ukha_d] What Antivirus Software?

My sub to Norton has expired today so I'm looking at my options

Last months Computer Shopper slated Nortons, finding that it (and McAfee)
failed to detect any test trojans they tried it with. Comp Shop suggested
F-Secure or Kaspersky.

However, the price quoted for F-secures client security product of £70
(with
a minimum of 5 licences) makes it hugely expensive (I have 3 XP boxes, a
win2k server and an XP laptop to protect) at £350 PA

So, given that I have ADSL and 5 PC's to cover, anyone got any idea for
something more cost effective?

Oh! The HA link - The win 2k server has all my MP3s, my BMS software and my
Wx station on it.

Regards

Neil
