Hi Matt

I use IPCOP to VPN to work

It works a treat and also acts as my firewall

http://www.ipcop.org/cgi-bin/twiki/view/IPCop/WebHome

easily works on a 486

Not to sure how to set it up over a wireless set up though

Mike

Hi!

I've been a bit worried recently at the widespread articles about
people 'borrowing' bandwidth over wireless connections....

Some of the articles sugested setting up a VPN tunnel between the
wired and wireless LAN's. It would also be useful for connecting to
home from work.

So I thought i'd have a go. I wasnt prepared to pay lots of money
for a hardware solution (im too poor!) so I want a software one.
I've tried looking for a mini-linux distribution to no avail.

I'd ideally like to use some old 486's that i have lying around (may
help clear up some space!).

Has anyone got something like this set-up or know of a good solution
that won't take 6months of tinkering to get working!

Hope you can help (as usual)!

Cheers,

Matt
