Thanks for the reply.

To answer my own questions...

There is no digitial input on this monitor, it is DSUB SVGA only, so
that is fine.

I removed the stand mount and now I cna see the back is still sealed,
and has a nice large rectangular area to screw into, which is
probably standard, we are now looking at mounting it in foam, now
that we know it is not open to the elements.

Will have a glance at ebay.
