I have 2 vigor 2600 routers. They include an ADSL modem internally and
work
fine. I have tested both LAN-LAN VPN between them and remote VPN into one
of them and it works well.

If I was buying TODAY, I would try for a twin-pack of the 2600V
modem/routers as these include 2 VOIP ports too.

Subject: [ukha_d] ADSL modem

I have been following the debates on both ADSL routers and ISP's recently
and need to decide on my own kit soon. I am pretty taken with the Dratek
Vigor 2600 as the router. Does anyone have a recommendation for a modem
that
will work with this? I am also considering the wireless version of the
above
(2600WE) but need to check if it will work with my current wireless kit.

At the end of the day I am after an ADSL connection that is accessible to
all my PC's on the LAN without dependency on any one PC being on hence the
router.

Please correct me if there are any flaws in my thinking here.

Thanks

Ian
