Thx for reply. I've the Sun Java box ticked & the Microsoft VM
unticked, the Java JIT compiler enabled & logging disabled.
I have environment variable set on the Win2000 server, but not on the
Win 98 machines, but that doesn't stop the laptop connecting.
The machines are not identical (Fuji Point 510 tablet, and
"standard"
Pentium 300MHz laptop, both with 32M memery), but they have pretty
similar software loaded - the laptop is a bit more powerful but is
still fairly slow (as is Fuji tablet).
Seems v odd - was wondering if anyone had successfully loaded Java
onto a Fuji as there's lots of members with them.
