More Cat5, you can never have too much Cat5 :-) Spread it around the room.

This will enable you to do so much in the future, and the small short term
extra outlay easily makes up for the long term benefits.

With only 1 net connection in each room you'll easily run out. What if you
want a net connected DVD player or MP3 player and then want to plug your PC
in there?

Have you thought about how your going to automate your lights and what
impact
that will have on your wiring? What if you want the lights to come on when
you enter the room? Have you wired for PIR's?

What about automated curtains?

Whole house audio?

IR Distribution?

The list goes on :-)
