Re: X10 IR interface

Hi M+M ;-))

When i was first testing my Probe Zone Hub and was checking the
status of the selected probe via Port B..x ...I couldnt get it to give me
the correct status on first reading (calling a macro)...It would give me
the
previous status of the probe ???....I scatched my head for quite a few
evenings trying to work out what was going on.....I then noticed a command
called "Read b-bit input port B into result value
immediately."...This gave
me the impression that the input ports may not be in an updated state
when
you read them...So i changed my read command to the above and bingo it
worked........... and then i recently read the hv doc which stated what i
suspected...maybe this could fix your Problem Mark...???
Although i read the port status using FirM for the active ir zone and get
no errors so it must be a timing issue...I think the hub was requesting the
port status before it was being updated....
HTH
Frank
