Hello,
It's on the boundary of automation just, but has anyone seen or bought
those dustbins that open when you place your hand near the lid. I
think they use a reflected IR eam to detect your presence. They are
about =A370 IIRC but then again a metal Brabantia bin that is fully
manual is about that too.
I saw some last year in a cook shop and took a few months to talk
myself into spending that much money for a plastic box, IR led, and
motor! I went today thinking maybe they would be reduced in a sale,
but they are no longer sold there! Does anyone know who sells them;
perhaps mail order? What is the brand name for me to do a google
search?
