I only ever trigger the kettle when Im home, and even if a appliance module
activated for some unknown reason, the kettle would boil once and cut off.
I
wouldnt advocate use of elastic bands - serious fire hazard there me thinks
if the kettle boils dry and the thermal cutout fails...
