Yup, I have an old BT 2+8 PBX and it works just peachy on my ADSL'd phone
line.
The line has an NTE5 face place and the PBX is plugged into the phone
socket
(obviously :) of the NTE5.
The internal lines then run to the various rooms. The PBS was there before
the ADSL, but never had any problems before or after.

I have had two different standard analogue-line PBXs (2+8
configuration) on my ADSL line with no ill-effects whatsoever - it
works just fine, and I can't see any reason to suppose otherwise.
