They could of paid to become DVD-logo certified (about $40k) and done it
the
"legal" way that the likes of PowerDVD does.

Now that "DVD Jon" has been fully aquitted the legallity of
ripping DVDs
that you own for personal viewing is alot less of a dodgy area.
