Re: Wireless video sending advice

I'd recommend staying away from them, especially as you say you use
Wi-Fi. I currently have a transmitter in the living room feeding
receivers in bedroom and kitchen; I got them a few years ago when
Homebase where clearing stuff out cheap.

If you walk in the path between the transmitter and receiver, you get
interference, if you switch on a microwave to close, you get
interference, if you use Wi-Fi (in my experience of using it anyway,
including messing around with channels on all things), you get
interference, if you use Bluetooth you get interference.

I also have problems with the IR return to the Tivo, requiring
double-presses (I know this is a problem with various wirless devices)

Personally, my plan is to replace them with Kat5 units when the IR
return models are available. IMHO, if you can run a cable, you'd be
better off doing so.
