Not meant to confuse, if I had the spare cash, I would have done that to my
Sky+ as I was under the mishapresension (Spelling?) it gave an equivilent
of
digital video out.

So sorry everyone out there.

However googling, I did find a SDI to DV (Firewire) converter at the
following link:

So maybe not that far of the mark after all ......
