Thanks Gareth,

Just solved this - got a "High Definition" connector pack from
Game (Gamest=
er make). It works a treat (in PAL) and I now have the Xbox switching
along=
with Sky+, DVD etc :)

And the connector pack was less than =A320!!!

I found a site with the pinout diagrams for the Xbox connector - there are
=
three pins that set the type of output depending on whether they are
shorte=
d to ground or not.

I think you're probably referring to the High Definition modes - don't
appe=
ar in the menu as they will for the US version :(  Component (YUV) does
wor=
k though although only in PAL50 or PAL60 modes.
