I'm hearing that component out options on the MS Dashboard only appear
when the box is NTSC or set into NTSC mode (modded box).
I've not done this yet, but would want to soon for a new projector.

I don't have component in myself so I am not sure but this is worth a
look.
Toysrus are selling a steering wheel kit and it has an AV breakout box
which has component out.

Anyone know if the Xbox component (High Definition connector pack) is
available in any UK high street store?
I have YUV (Component) switching in my Amp (which currently switches DVD
and Sky+ [converted from RGB]) and then YUV into my plasma.
