I Have one of the BT tom-tom gps things.

Works fine for me with both tom-tom on the ipaq and also auto route and
info
map on the laptop with a BT use adaptor.

The normal TomTom kit comes with a cigarette lighter powered GPS mouse,
meaning you can use it in any car.
