If your quality question was directed at the nebula card, it does the
decoding with the card and some cpu cycles. If its recording without
display
it doesn't use much.
There are display options in the settings that can improve things.. but
bascially sometimes on Freeview live stuff doesn't look that good, and some
stuff never looks too good, becuase of the bitrate.
The card itself is capable of HDTV in oz.
