Ahhh but if you hook an NTL or Telewest feed directly into an aerial
socket then you do actually get the terrestrial TV feeds too (or at
least you used to) ... They pipe them down the same coax as a UHF aerial
feed and before I had the aerial at home sorted out I used to use the
NTL feed into the house (which I have for broadband only) as a signal
source for Analogue Terrestrial. I had wondered whether the DTT signals
just happened to be carried too but they would seem not to be.
