Re: Led lights

To get back to the original query :-)

Have tried an appliance module (actually several) with the same outcome.

Also googled and didn't get anywhere!!

SWMBO loves the lights but the question 'why don't they turn off' is
causing me much grief and is likely to have a significant impact on my
future spending power!!

Help please!!!!!!

The lamp modules allow a trickle current even when off - it's the way they
work.

Try an appliance module as this kills the current via a relay. Only the
local control to then worry about (turning back on by themselves a second
or so after turning them off). Since they have a transformer this may or
may not be a problem.

Hi,

Just bought an LED kit

http://www.micromark.co.uk/epages/micromark.storefront/402275cb00ad3b8427400a020f0205cf/Product/View/MM18194?CatNo=91
to have a play (no electronics knowledge so couldn't go down the 'home
grown' route!).

I want to control via X10 (AM12 or LM12 prefererably - just on or off, no
dimming) but cannot get the LED's to go out (they are either on or
dimmed).
Can any of you electronics gurus explain please??

John
