Mick,

It is possible to run Aida32 from a floppy disk.

The only REQUIRED files are:

aida32.bin
aida32.exe
aida32.dat

size = 1.4m

The second alternative is to just have a cmd line that runs aida32
>from

\\servname\share\AIDA32.exe /R \\servname\reports-
share\$HOSTNAME /ADO /CUSTOM \\servname\share\Report.rpf /SILENT /SAFE

I agree with everyone's reaction to this software. I had the same
reaction when it was introduced to me.

It is now scheduled to run on logon once a week, over-writing the old
file each time. It then generates a lovely HTML snapshot of our
network.

I also find that the forum has some great information on more
advanced issues.

Stuart
