I did this in our bathroom ashram. I just went to a local glazier and got
them to make up the mirror to my sizes. They were a little reluctant at
first as I think they would rather have measured and carried out a site
survey themselves but I persuaded them my sizes were correct and I'd take
the hit financially if they were wrong. They suggested the thickness,
where mounting holes should be and supplied the fittings. They also
recommended a 1" bevel around the perimeter - they said it would add
strength(?). In the end I was pleasantly surprised at the cost - it's
about
9' x 7' (around three quarters of one wall) and from memory I'm sure it was
just less than 300 UKP fitted. Well worth it in my opinion. A friend
liked
the effect so much after seeing mine he did the same in his - except he
went
one step further and fitted an electric heater behind his!
