Likewise, I've been trying out various firewall packages. I've had a look
at CensorNet, ClarkConnect, IPCop and Smoothwall, and opted for IPCop.
IPCop has ready-made modifications too, such as content filtering, which I
need for the family!
I have put some links on my newly created www.listeninghome.com (that used
to have all my HA stuff on it including Homeseer access - until the dreaded
worm got in and deleted the lot!)
I now backup!
Alex.

Thanks for the help!
I have decided to go with IPCop and forego the use of Compaq's diagnostic
tools (I won't need to change the hardware config any time sooon if
everything installs ok.
I particularly like the idea of the 'blue' LAN for wireless access...
Now I have the joyous task of getting it all working!
Thanks again,
Matt
P.S
Does anyone know if IPCop supports multiprocessor systems in default
config?
