I have managed to get hold of an old laptop I would like to add a
wireless network card but my problem is I don't have local admin
rights windows 2000.
Having read various bits on the net it appears I can reset the local
adim password with a program called locksmith used to be sold by
winternals. I could format the PC but it's got some useful software
on it that I don't want to loose.
the laptop doesn't have a built in cd rom so I can't use a boot cd
Any other suggestons welcome
Best to reply directly as I don't want to make this a hacking thread
any help appreciated
