[OT] Smoothwall question

Hey all,

Does anyone have any experience of smoothwall (or in other words, is
there another linux based router that is better?)? I am trying to
it on a Compaq Proliant 850R that I managed to get hold of for a few
bob...

Ideally I would like to install SmartStart (Compaq's server
diagnostics). This involves creating a small partiton on the hard
drive. The problem is that when installing smoothwall the entire
disk (i.e all partitions) are removed and smoothwall takes over...

Is there any way to get around this?

thanks again!

Merry Christmas!

Matt
