Err, I am hardly worthy to lick the feet of the HAers here. The extent of
my automation is the PBX (hooked to the doorbell as you can't hear the
actual  bell more than a couple of rooms away from the door). I'm working
on the heating at the moment. The buggers who refurbished this place didn't
even lay any coax or phone wires behind the dry lining, and all the
electrics are in the dry lining or under 18mm chipboard :-(

One second delay? It usually takes me a lot longer than that to get to the
door anyway.
