RE: Finger print recognition doorbell - does it exist?

Surely there would be some privacy laws and data protection to stop you
from recording information of strangers with out their knowledge and prior
agreement?

Subject: [ukha_d] Finger print recognition doorbell - does it exist?

Hi

Is there a device out there that can serve as a finger print recognition
door bell?

i.e. I'm after the end solution being homeseer saying, as an example:
"Dad
is at the door" when he rings the doorbell.

Also the ability to log strangers fingerprints, and to notify me that
there is an unknown person at the door.
The logging of fingerprints for future use is the key here (think along
the lines of abusive carol singers when I told them politley I had no
money on me).

Cheers in advance for any help.

J
