Better home page for newbies including a (Real) video for it here -
http://www.sun.com/software/looking_glass/

If you're looking at the video, look at the "bookshelf" view of
multiple running Videos on the desktop at about 3:30

There's been some discussion of it over on the OpenOffice.org mailing
lists. The general consensus seems to be that it's very, very, sexy,
and that the co-dev model of Sun paid developers working together with
an opensource community development group has proved itself on the
StarOffice/OpenOffice product set.

There's a new "stable" release due by the end of the year
assuming
they keep to road-map (which the Sun team have done pretty well in
OpenOffice.org space)

Regards,

Mark
