You're not the only one.  Mains wiring is a piece of cake.  There's
only three wires for ****s sake, and they're all nicely colour coded.
That's why bad wiring only injures a tiny handful of people each year
(and most of those would be OK if they had taken sensible
precautions, like not assuming there's no wire buried where they want
to hang a picture), and that's also why no-one except this oppressive
nannying government felt to regulate installations.

If they want to see my ID card, I'll be hiding in the corner daring
them to turn on my lights ;-)
