It's all too slow for that. I use a micromodule to translate a pull
switch in the bathroom into X10 commands that control an LM11W -
there is a horrible lag.
The LD11 plus momentary switch works well enough - it remembers the
previous dim settings so push-on push-off is usually all that is
needed. The occasional change to the brightness level isn't such a
big deal (hold the button and it cycles up and down). You do not
have to have a switch attached - it is optional - you can always
control it via X10 commands.
The LD11 also has the advantage of handling loads up to 700W, rather
than the 300W of the LM11W.
