RE: UKHA 2005 - dates?

I'm with Chris on this one. Being one of the guys who do the gadget
building at home affording the hotel is bad enough let alone the costs
associated with a professional event. Maybe we should consider the scale
and number of days rather than whether to have a meet at all. Also, the
professional events are not where a lot of us are with our DIY home
automation. For myself all the 'real' stuff is out of my price league and
anyway, my interest is in other homebrew kit along the lines of my own ;-)

The evening chatting and socialising etc. are a big highlight for a lot of
people and this after a Saturdays overload of gadgets is hard to beat.

Finally, last year the Sunday was a lot quieter than the Saturday.

Just my thoughts

Ian

I personally think it's a bad idea going that commercial with the event
yet
=) UKHA meets tend to be a lot more hands on than you'd get at the shows.
