You can mod them, it's not that difficult. Bear in mind though the
timing will be set for 60Hz and so any any dim setting will be out by
20%. This is most noticable when you fade to off. The light fades to
about 20% then suddenly goes off...the same thing happens in reverse
if you soft start the unit.

I imported some LampLinc units and modded them, I thought I'd got
away with the duty, then 2 months later Fedex asked for money:(
