Sorry! Its Sunday.....

Yep, would be inclined to agree with your comments on its limitations. As
you say its not cheap and 4 (Four!) zones does limit it.

Many thanks

Rob

Yep, would be inclined to agree with your comments on its limitations. As
you say its not cheap and 5 zones does limit it (Although you can stack
controllers. Expensive though!)

Keypads as you say aren't great! But they're one of few out their that are
UK gang size and have some nice finishes.

To my mind two of the nicest controllers on the market at the moment are
the
Xantech MRC88 (8 inputs) and the Sonance Harbour (6 inputs). The later has
the benefit of touch screen wall pads. BUT, both output Composite for video
which is so typical of US market kit. At least the Systemline box supports
the Kramer 4x4 S-video Matrix Switcher out of the box.

Have I missed anything else?

Many thanks

Rob

Hi Rob

I was never impressed with it. Note that I've never installed any, the main
reason being that for the money I thought there were better systems on the
market.

One limiting factor is that you're limited to only 4 zones. We often find
that people willing to spend a few grand on a multi-room system have many
more than 4 rooms suitable to be covered.

And the keypad display is very poor - it's only a 4 character unit.

Generally I found QED kit overpriced, but then that's only my view, and no
doubt others will have different experiences.

Anyone here using or have experience of the QED Systemline 4.3/4.4
multiroom
controllers? Interested in any views or experiences?

Many thanks

Rob
