A second TiVo?

I am contemplating a second TiVo for the lounge, there are lots of other
devices on the market, but I think the TiVo is the best thought out and the
peanut remote means only one remote in my living room (well now I have the
Showcenter remote too,...).

Before I go down this route I thought I'd ask opinions, I've read a fair
bit about the XBMC and it looks quite tempting, but I'd like to hear
opinions from any TiVo fanatics out there.
