RE: OT: SCA Convertors
Thanks.. I've found plenty of those, but I need ones the other way - 68 pin
to SCA, not SCA to 68 pin. Basically what I need is a card that plugs into
the 68 pin connector and also the power connector on the drive and converts
that to one SCA connector so I can plug them into the RAID array I have -
it
looks increasingly like I'm gonna be re-ebaying them though.
With that in mind... anyone need any 9.1GB SCSI Ultra2 drives?
Cheers

Is where I bought my last ones from. I got given 2 36Gb Comaq Server LVD
Drives.
They were about 11 quid each.

Hi Folks,
I have just bought three drives off ebay thinking I want 68pin Ultra2 SCSI
jobbies. when in fact what I actually needed were 80pin SCA ones.
Does anyone know if there is a converter which simply plugs into the back
of
the drive and converts 68 pins to 80? (this would have to include the
power
connector too!
I can find loads of them the other way round, but not this way, which
seems
a bad omen!
Thanks
paul
