Dir/File Manager Tool

I have not kept up with the housekeeping of software/mp3/video/pictures
files on one
of my harddrives. so I pretty much need to sit down and sort out
all the files/directories. I need to label files correctly, put them in
directories, organise, merge directories together and check
for duplicate files. etc
Is there a tool outthere that I can help me make the process
a little less mind numbing ?
