I fitted the IR mod that Lee described, it worked great from the DVD
remote or Pronto and it was only about 7 pounds.

The problem that I found was that it works from the 'Display' button
to turn the Xbox ON and the '0' to turn it off.

OK except when you want to press the '0' and you turn your Xbox off
