I've just tried streaming an ISO over a standard smb share, i.e. using
<path>smb://username:password@192.168.0.2/Videos/</path> in the
video section of
the xml file and it works fine. I'm using quite a recent CVS build of xbmc,
so
I'm not sure if the 'official' releases work too.
