Something i've done in my bathrooms and conservatory (i.e. rooms=20
that sound fidelity is not needed) is use PC speakers - the Creative=20
ones that come as a set with a sub/amp box and a number of satellite=20
speakers. When I get to my kitchen, i'll do the same - just hide the=20
amp somewhere (on top of kitchen cabinets works well) and put the=20
satellites nearby on top of the cabinets. Sounds pretty good, and=20
doesn't require in-ceiling speakers. And best part is you'll only=20
need to spend around =A330 for the set.
