Hi Nick,

My reasons for going is that I want to change career and instead of being
an
IT support monkey on next-to-flip all, I want to go into smart-home
technology ie; c-bus et al. And perhaps go down the integrator route.

As a company it's the best thing we attend all year. It's
more relevant
to us than any of the other shows so there is far more stuff
that's of
interest. We take everybody in the company for at least a
couple of
days, most of us attend training courses whilst we're there
too. Not
sure that it particularly caters for the 'hobbyist' market
- more
Crestrona dn AMX than Fuji panels - but I'm sure it would
still be of
interest to anyone with a passion for home entertainment and
automation.

I'm thinking of attending the cedia expo this year, however,
