RE: OT - Wax/Resin coating on ignition coils

Resin, epoxy, potting compound

We use a 2 part mix, comes in a plastic bag separated by a divider,
remove the divider and mix the 2 compounds in the bag, snip the corner
off and pour.

Search RS, there are loads of em.

Subject: [ukha_d] OT - Wax/Resin coating on ignition coils

Apologies for OT post, but I'm sure some of you electronics experts
will know. I've been servicing my boat outboard motor & have chipped
off some of the resinous, waxy coating (c 2 mm thick) around the
coils in the ignition system, exposing some of the waxy paper
covering the windings (undamaged). I want to reseal the coil - does
anyone know a product that will do this?
TIA
Nick
