Thanks for the speedy reply.  From what you say, it looks like I'll be OK
with sticking the rears up at picture rail height (which is good, because
that's the easiest place for me to put them!).  The front three I'll attach
to the TV stand for now - they will get a better home when the "Plasma
fund"
has reached the required level :-)

The only problem now is the centre rear - behind the viewing position is a
bay window with floor-ceiling curtains (that's what I get for buying a 6:1
instead of 5:1 system!)
