Not sure you could do exactly that but you could boot from a compact flash
card such as those sold by linitx at http://linitx.com/products/compact_flash_ide_adapter/.
A 512Mb CF card would be more than big emough.

Subject: [ukha_d] Diskless Homeseer server

I have decided to finally sort out some of my machines, and have decieded
to reuse some old hardware to build a dedicated Homeseer server.

I would like to run Win 98 in a Ramdisk so the system could boot from CD
and run.

Has anyone contemplated or even done this ? I would back up config files to
a network share so change of config is not an issue.

Cheers

Kevin
